Before and After School and Summer Enrichment  

The purpose of the Before, After School, and Summer Enrichment (BASE) Programs is to provide safe, quality, affordable childcare in a school setting. Whereby each individual child is enriched with various experiences that are conducive to their academic, social, and physical development. These self-supporting programs are offered to any child enrolled in an Adams Twelve Five Star Elementary School. Special needs children are welcome and any appropriate modifications will be provided if possible. All BASE programs are licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services. All programs strictly adhere to State and School District policies and procedures. For families needing financial assistance, the Adams County Department of Social Services may provide assistance for those who qualify.

Location: School Cafeteria (Parking is available in back of the school.)
Hours:    
Before School Program 6:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.  
After School Program ( Mon. Tues. Thurs. Fri.) 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  
Early Release Days (Wednesday) 1:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  
Half Day 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  
Full Days 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (enrollment permitting)

 *Note: For those parents who use the full day program on a drop in basis, the drop in fee will be $33.00, effective for the 2009-2010 school year.

Registration for Fall 2009-2010: Fall registration will start on Monday June 29, 2009 for returning families and families currently enrolled for summer. Registration will open up to the community on Monday July 13, 2009.  The registration fee is $85.00 for summer and fall 2009-2010 or $50.00 for only the 2009-2010 school year.


*Registration fees and forms are required at the time of registration.

Registration forms and parent handbook can be picked up in the main office or in the BASE office.

Fees may be paid in the form of a check, money order, or cashier's check made payable to Prairie Hills BASE.

BASE director must meet with all registrants prior to start date.
