Sign-Up for Assessment Days
We are excited to have the opportunity for In-Person Assessment Day to begin the new school year. Assessment Day is an essential time for your child to work with their classroom teacher to demonstrate what they know and are able to do independently. Throug this process, our teachers are able to spend time with each individual student- getting to know interests, learning styles and to set goals together for a successful year.
During our In-Person Assessments, we will follow all Adams 12 Safety Guidelines:
Prior to arriving at school, parent/guardian will be asked to conduct a home health screen for each student participating in assessments that day.
Parents/guardians should drop off their child at the grade level designated door . Upon entering, students will sanitize their hands and have their temperatures taken by their classroom teachers. Students will be picked up in the same location.
The assessments will be given in small groups of 3-5 students and physical distancing will be maintained.
Face coverings are required for staff, students, and parents/guardians while on school property.
During Assessment Days, students will participate in Asynchronous learning while not in assessment. During their assessment times, students will participate in a Reading Assessment (Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening or the Basic Reading Inventory), as well as a Math Assessment (NWEA MAPS) in 1st Grade. Students who are attending PHE Learning PODS will be assigned a time and do NOT need to sign-up.
We look forward to learn more about our Lark Students!
