Ms. Foubert's SEL Page

General Education

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

SELs evaluate and implement strategies to address the five core competencies of the SEL framework: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and decision making.  SELs work with families, teachers, and students with school wide, individual and small groups to support their social and emotional wellness and to help provide an equitable learning environment for everyone.  Please reach out via phone or email if there is anything you or your child needs.

If your family is in crisis and need immediate assistance for mental health support, you can always call the Colorado Crisis Services at 1-888-493-8255  or  you can text 38255 for 24/7 assistance.
