Prairie Hills focuses on bullying prevention in October

October has been a month of positivity and inclusion at Prairie Hills Elementary as they focused on bullying prevention.

A committee of dedicated student leaders successfully led an initiative where students, staff and families pledged to be kind, inclusive and stand up against bullying. These pledges are proudly displayed in the Lark Cafe. In addition, every student has participated in lessons on how to recognize, report and refuse bullying.

Prairie Hills will celebrate their ongoing anti-bullying efforts with an Anti-Bullying Superhero Day on November 8. We are proud to see our community come together to foster a safe and supportive environment for all.

Special thanks to the Prairie Hills Elementary community for submitting this Five Star Story.

This story exemplifies our ELEVATE Focus Area: Social-Emotional Learning. Sharing stories about how the district provides innovative social-emotional programming and practices to students across all schools.
