Hello! My name is Dionne Allan and I teach fourth grade. I feel so blessed to have this job because teaching is my passion! This is my second year teaching 4th grade at Prairie Hills. Before teaching 4th grade I taught Kindergarten at Prairie Hills for 3 years. I have also taught 4th grade and Kindergarten at other schools in Colorado so this is my 10th year teaching. I grew up in Minnesota and received my bachelors from The College of St. Benedict/St. John's University. I moved to Colorado in 2005 for a 4th grade teaching job. I feel so grateful to be a part of such an excellent school and community! I love working with children and my goal is to help each child be the best person they can be. I strive to create a classroom of lifelong learners who not only feel passionate about learning, but about life.
When I'm not teaching I love spending time with my husband, Curtis and my two wonderful children, Summer and Noah. Summer is in 7th grade at Century Middle School and Noah is in 5th grade here at PHE. We love reading, camping, hiking, boating, snowboarding, and anything outdoors! I am looking forward to an amazing year at Prairie Hills. Go Meadowlarks!
