My name is Isabel D'Agostino and I am thrilled to be spending my first year teaching at Prairie Hills Elementary ! I was born in New York City and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. I decided to move out west for college and attended the University of Colorado Boulder. I graduated with my B.A. in Psychology along with my education licensure for K-5. I student taught in a full day kindergarten in Boulder and spent Spring 2019 as a substitute teacher. I am so thrilled to continue my teaching career in kindergarten. I love being able to watch my students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. As an educator it is important for me to establish a strong and supportive classroom community where my students feel comfortable and welcome.
When I’m not in the classroom, I love to take advantage of all that Colorado has to offer by snowboarding, hiking, and biking. Traveling and learning about other cultures is an interest of mine; recently I have been to Helsinki and Tanzania. I enjoy reading, taking barre classes, going to the movies, as well as being with friends and family.
