I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Prairie Hills. My passion for education has been shaped over the past 14 years as a classroom teacher, a private tutor, and a parent to my own children. My career includes teaching first, second, third, and fifth grade in California and Colorado encompassing a wide range of socioeconomic status, race, and culture. I’ve had the tremendous opportunity to work in both Title 1 and Non-Title 1 schools where I avidly took on the challenges of narrowing the achievement gap and working closely with administration to build capacity for teachers.
I'm an eternal optimist, constantly seeking what I'm for, rather than what I'm against. Through this positive outlook, I find the magnificent gifts that all children hold, regardless of who they are. My goal is to support our staff and community in cultivating and nurturing our students’ capacities and bringing out the best in each and every one of them.
I’m elated to be an integral part of the community and working with each of you to continue the great achievements at Prairie Hills. I truly believe that the best education is one that is fostered by the collaboration of students, parents, and staff.
