Hello! My name is Rob Sousa. I am originally from Colorado Springs. I have been teaching PE at the high school, middle school, and elementary level for 16 years. I have been at Prairie Hills since the doors opened 11 years ago. I attended Colorado State University where I earned a B.S. degree in Exercise Sport Science. Shortly after, I attended University of Northern Colorado and earned a M.A. in Physical Education Pedagogy.
When I’m not playing great games and fun activities with the students, I can be found on my mountain or road bike. I have been an avid cyclist my whole life and currently race mountain bikes at the professional level all over the state of Colorado. One of my proudest moments came on a bike when I was a part of a 4 man team that won the 24 hour national mountain bike championship in 2009 in Moab, Utah. I also enjoy watching the New England Patriots, playing my PS4 or Xbox One, and having fun with my dogs and friends.I have a ton of awesome activities and games planned in the gym and look forward to teaching your student how to be fit and have fun doing it.
