I come from a family of educators. My dad was a teacher for many years, before becoming the superintendent of schools in southeast Kansas for over 20 years. My mom was a teacher and also a published author of several children's books. I received my degree in elementary education from Kansas State University in 1997. I taught 6th grade in Salina, KS before moving to Colorado in 1999. I chose to stay home with my 3 lovely daughters until the spring of 2013, when I became a substitute teacher for Adams 12.
All 3 of my children attended Prairie Hills Elementary school and this is my 7th year working here! I am excited to be a part of the fourth grade team at Prairie Hills!
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also try help my husband with his remodeling business when I can. In my spare time I enjoy reading and family outings.
